Third Party Certification:
Safe Place are registered to certificate work that has been undertaken by a third party. This may include home owners undertaking DIY projects or
electricians and builders who can not self certify.
An inspector can visit the site before work starts to offer any advice.
In all cases an initial inspection takes place at the end of first fix. This is carried out to ensure that the cable sizes have been properly calculated and have been routed in the correct zones, using the appropriate mechanical protection.
The inspector then returns at the end of the second fix stage. This inspection takes longer and includes a detailed set of tests and a full inspection.
If, once tested, the work is satisfactory we complete all the relevant certificates and send a copy to the owner of the property and building control.
